Be An Athlete

5 Sep

When you are a kid – you don’t realize how great sports are. People come out to cheer you, you have a great uniform and it’s another chance to be a star.

At some point as you age, you become self-conscious and stop trying new sports and eventually decide the sports you have played all along are too much work to continue.

And then you reach adulthood and realize how great it was, and try to do it all over again.

And that’s where I am – I started over with a new sport (soccer) and later running to try to recapture that high.

At the same time I have two sons – now 7 and 5 who are involved in sports. I’ve started coaching them as well.

I’ll be writing regularly on the theme of developing myself and their own journey into athletic life.
