As a kid, I started playing and watching sports before I was in kindergarten. The early ages were played with y brother in the backyard, but later joined GORC and later Wheaton Boys Club.

Baseball was my sport. Not just to play – but to study, read about, and absorb. I read the Orioles media guide cover to cover, Who’s Who in Baseball and played APBA board baseball.

Along the way I also played some Soccer and Basketball. But those sports didn’t stick like Baseball.

I played Baseball up to age 13, when recreation programs ended. I didn’t have the skill to compete.

Competition bit again in my 30’s as my kids started to play. And now it’s a major part of y life again!

Hi, I’ve linked to your ‘When Should We Teach Passing’ article in a piece I am writing for TheFA.com. I was just wondering whether you use Twitter and if so what is your @username? Look forward to following your coaching journey in the future.

      Hi Pavl,
Loved listening to your interview on the NSCAA podcast last week. I hope you also produce more of your own podcasts!

      I’m on Twitter @dennismurray.
